Villa 1201 in Anguilla, Caribbean
Enter a world of barefoot elegance, extreme comfort, excellent service and superb surroundings. The rich luxury of this villa, set like a jewel on the sands of the Caribbean Sea, will be an unforgettable experience. Positioned on five acres of land and with 900 feet of beachfront splendor, this villa is great for walks and privacy. Landscaped with beautiful coconut palms and indigenous plants that carefully frame the outstanding views of the sea and nearby island of St. Martin. The tranquil surroundings invites you to nap in our hammock located under the Skywalk as you take in the beach view while listening to your favorite music.
When you enter the villa you enter a world of contemporary self-indulgence, 12,000 square feet of it. The villa is a private haven for up to 10 guests. Its five bedrooms, and adjoining luxurious baths, are beautifully appointed. Moving from them to the divine comfort of the living room, the state of the art game room, the enchanting dining room or the spectacular outdoor swimming pool, which all but floats on the white sands, will be a richly rewarded challenge. The formal dining room offers views of the beach from the large sliding glass windows. The dining room table seats 12 comfortably and is made of thick glass designed to match the color of the Caribbean Sea seen outside the villa's large windows. Distinctive lighting has been added below the table to create the effect of moonlight on the water. Silverware has been uniquely designed for Altamer with international influences from Italy, France and Russia. The settings are enhanced by pieces from Faberge during the Tsarist period in Russia and Murano hand-blown gold speckled stemware.
The villa is fully air-conditioned but also has ceiling fans for those who prefer the natural breezes of Anguilla. While relaxing in any part of the villa you will feel comforted by the interior design that enhances the visual excitement of the furnishings and artwork as it seamlessly complements the magnificent architecture of the structure. The interior of the villa was designed by June Goldfinger within the dramatic spaces created by her husband, internationally renowned architect Myron Goldfinger. June has a deep understanding and love for his bold use of geometry, which is reflected in her interiors. Her touch is distinguished by her commitment to the notion of excellence and uniqueness, which will be seen in the villa's interiors. Guests will find that the furnishings are of the highest quality, many of which have been specially commissioned for the villa.
No detail has been overlooked, no comfort too small, no need too big. The staff of seven includes a manager, two butlers, a chef, two housekeepers and a landscape and maintenance technician. The service is impeccable and it simply surrounds you in anticipation of your every desire.
Every detail is exquisite, including a sound system of seven zones, including the poolside, ergonomically correct and incredibly comfortable furnishings and lighting, which in and of itself is an art. Dining is an unforgettable culinary experience. Other choices include tennis on the private court, fully equipped fitness center, and an in-villa office that includes a full computer system and Internet access. Air conditioning, elevators and handicapped access is also included. This villa is the ultimate in indulgence and sophistication. Paradise perfected on the island of Anguilla.
