Perfectly positioned on the brow of a hill overlooking Armstrong Island lagoon, is the superb 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom “bure style” Villa.

This beautifully appointed residence is located on idyllic Malololailai Island. It has an open plan living and dining area with two large bedrooms in the main Villa and three additional self-contained bedroom bures, linked to the main living area by generous sweeping decks. Each of these additional bedrooms has its own kitchenette and bathroom.

The house is elevated, with sweeping views of the surrounding lagoons and beach. The grounds are home to mango trees, a rain tree and of course, coconut palms. The living room features a high Fijian style stud, and opens on three sides to the generous decks that wrap the house, maximising the tropical views and magical Fijian sunsets. Luxuriate in the 15 metre swimming pool, or discover the many water activities on offer at the Islands two resorts, (5 and 15 minute walks).

Whilst the villa offers absolute privacy for those who prefer to self cater (a supermarket is 5 minutes walk from the villa), guests can dine at one of 5 different restaurants on hand, or pop into one of the Islands four bars for a beachfront cocktail. Guests can also enjoy the Nanny assistance offered through the resorts.

By boat

A total trip time of 90 minutes - being a little over 30 minutes from Nadi airport to Denerau Marina and a 3/4 hour trip to the island by boat.

By plane

Malololailai Island airstrip is 10 minutes by plane from Nadi airport.

Organised transfers

Malololailai Island is west of Denerau – three quarters of an hour by ferry or ten minutes by plane. The island’s crystal clear waters offer some of the best snorkelling, sailing, kayaking, scuba-diving, surfing and deepwater fishing in Fiji. There are two scuba-diving operations on the island and many boats available for charter to enjoy the copious water activities or to island hop to one of the nearby resorts. Close at hand are three of the most famous Fijian surf breaks - Taveuni, Namotu and the Swimming Pools.

Malololailai hosts two resorts – both reached by easy flat walks, one five minutes and the other fifteen minutes from the house. The island also has many tracks for joggers and those who like to explore their environs and find their own secluded beach to picnic or swim
